How do I make the 5% OrangiO mix and what is it for?
1 cap (5 ml) per 100 ml of water. Spray bottle, e.g. 7 caps per 700 ml. It keeps. Do not mix a fresh batch for every clean. Almost the whole greasy kitchen comes off with this one liquid. Stop collecting five sprays. White and hard (limescale) is not this bottle.
Steps
- Make 5% in a spray bottle: 1 cap per 100 ml of water (700 ml = 7 caps). Filtered or demineralised water works better on steel and glass; tap water works too. Close it and it keeps.
- If the dirt is white and hard, put OrangiO down. That is limescale, not grease.
- Apply. 30 seconds. Wipe.
- Did not come off: once more, or spot-treat stronger, gloves on. Only then try another way.
- Whole counters day to day: take #MixTour002 (the 1% bowl).
Do not use on
white hard limescale; the black list (screens, perspex, raw wood, car paint); disinfection is not this product; never mix with a descaler.
Safety
keep children away; never mix with other chemicals; gloves when handling the concentrate. Never mix OrangiO with other chemicals, especially bleach.
Finish
30 seconds is the rule. It rarely fails. Food surfaces: clean water plus drying.
Questions
Can I keep the 5% mix ready in the bottle?
Yes. 5% in a closed spray bottle keeps, do not mix a fresh batch for every clean. An open 1% bowl is a different rule: one round and done.
What water works best?
Warm, not hot. Filtered or demineralised water works better on steel and glass, tap water is fine too.
What if the dirt is white and hard?
That is limescale, not grease. OrangiO will not dissolve it: take a descaler, and rinse fully between the two products.
Where to get the base
This plan needs one bottle: OrangiO #mama106, an orange oil concentrate for grease and glue.
