How do I get the stickiness off handles and cabinet edges?

2 caps (10 ml) per 1 l of warm water; liquid on the cloth, not on the furniture. Handles, routed edges and the area around the bin collect grease from hands. You touch a cabinet and feel the stickiness.

Steps

  1. Make the 1% mix (2 caps per 1 l; half a litre = 1 cap).
  2. Soak the cloth and wring it WELL. Damp, not wet.
  3. Wipe the handle and the edge; do not let liquid run into the joints.
  4. Wipe again with a clean damp cloth.
  5. Dry, especially the edges.

Do not use on

soaked MDF edges, hinges, electronics, raw wood.

Safety

keep the product away from children; air the kitchen during longer work. Never mix OrangiO with other chemicals, especially bleach.

Finish

clean damp cloth plus drying; nothing may run into panel joints.

Questions

Why liquid on the cloth, not on the furniture?

Because liquid must not run into joints and MDF edges. The cloth should be damp, not wet: wring it well.

Can I clean lacquered fronts this way?

Trial in an invisible spot first. Unknown veneer, raw wood and lacquered furniture need a corner test.

Where to get the base

This plan needs one bottle: OrangiO #mama106, an orange oil concentrate for grease and glue.
