How do I remove chewing gum from a tile or metal leg?

Steps

Lift the gum lump mechanically: a plastic card, not your nails.
On the sticky shadow: a pad with 5%, hold for half a minute.
Collect the film, repeat if needed.
Clean water and drying.

Do not use on

fabrics, carpets, wood, plastics, painted surfaces.

Safety

work on the mark only. Never mix OrangiO with other chemicals, especially bleach.

Finish

clean water plus drying.

Questions

The gum smeared into a sticky shadow. Now what?

That is normal after lifting the lump. Hold a pad with 5% on it for half a minute and collect the film in one move, repeat if needed.

Will this work on a carpet or clothes?

Not with this plan. Fabrics, carpets and wood are out of scope: they are handled differently and tested first.
